Zoom H4N - Is this a dying unit or fixable?
by Al Bergstein 8 years ago
Seems as if my three year old Zoom H4N has just reached the end of the line. No matter what batteries I put into it, fresh and out of the package, it sees it as a dead or extremely low battery. It wil

Mine was doing the same thing, fresh batteries or adapter, it didn't matter. Just barely touch the power switch or record button and it would say 'Goodbye' or whatever. I'm an electronic technician, s

Actually you can't judge with this Optical Flow, because I used 1 250th shutter speed, so it had a lot of motion blur. It should be 1 1600th or better from what I've read, not what I've tried.
Match Move

Hi all, I need urgent help. I use FCP 5.0.4. I have footage I imported in FCP. The clips are all in H.264 format, 1080i, 30 fps, square pixels. I have created a sequence with the same exact settings a

Sorry, I didn't mean to confuse. I was explaining how I do it and it works badly, hence the subtitle "How not to do it". H.264 is compressed and can't be used in the FC because FC has to uncompress on

Re: choppy motion

Hello Jon, You got it figured out. FCE will not work well with 24p. It will try but it will drop frames or become choppy. That is why I had to go to Pro. I was handed 24p material, and FCE would not c
What does this button do?
