Depends on the original file format that the shot was captured with as well. If DVCProHD its PAR is going to be 1.33 (for 720) or 1.5 (1080) so perhaps the MM software you are using is not picking up

Hi Jim, You may be running into an issue where the "Best Geometric Detail" is not set high enough. Try increasing the value to "600 x 600" or higher and see if this works out for you. Best, Edward

So I assume this is DVCPro HD footage. You can work with the P2 media natively from CS3 onward. DVCPro HD is thin raster so if you create a comp from a clip it will display with 1.33 or 1.5 PAR depend

I will say that, first off, the DVCPro HD files are reporting as 960x720 because that is what they are. They are thin raster with a Pix aspect ratio of 1.33. If you want to can work in AE in a 1280x72

We have one too. Its already compressed, so you will get the first of the two numbers on the tape with the 320 drive. Works like a dream, but takes a long time, so don't recommend watching it happen..
