We used Playback Pro from DT Labs to do this every week both in our broadcast group and events group. It does run on a Mac and uses Quicktime player. If Quicktime will play the file then Playback Pro

You need to resize the graphic image to match the resolution you are operating the ATEM at. For example, if you are set to 1080i then your graphic image needs to be set to 1920x1080; If 720p then 1280
