Casey, - Xdcam ex is using Mpeg2 codec. - Sony AVC is using AVC h264 codec. But both use mp4 container. You will have a bigger file with Xdcam as mpeg2 is less compressed. The quality should be simila

Well I often have the same thing happen. Using Sony Vegas 9 I will render a MGEG-2 under Dvd Arch Template. My show was 1.5hrs so I thought it would fit. Once again it will not "fit to disk" in Archit
