When exporting for YouTube, select the H.264 format, then under the presets drop-down list, scroll all the way to the bottom and use YouTube 1080p HD. Just double-check then that the frame rate is 29.

Not a Vegas user, but in general it's a good idea to apply an Audio Crossfade to audio clips that butt up to one another, or you WILL get a pop usually. This is my experience in Premiere CC. Thanks Je

Hi Jon, If transcoding .mp4 clips for the purpose of editing them, I would not transcode to .mp4 (H.264) as that is a lossy format. I'd be using a high-quality intermediate such as Cineform or DNxHD w
