For Blu-ray, choose a BLU-RAY preset then. While you can use MPEG-2, my preference would be to look at Blu-ray presets under the H.264 format, as H.264 is a newer, more efficient codec. Thanks Jeff Pu

Every system is different, all I'm saying is that every NLE recommends a dedicated hard drive for your media for best performance. You can "get by" with what you have, but for more serious editing you
