The work flow is intuitive and Magix is putting a lot of resources in getting VP to be a front line program again since Sony let it become so dated. Quick and easy but very powerful. 17 only has one p

60 FPS even 1080P can put a real strain on a computer system. My i7700 4200 with 32 gig fast ram, SSD, and 480 8 Gig GPU doesn't crash but it can be very, very slow. I work with proxies and then rende

I use an i7700 4.2 Ghz with 32 gig ram and an AMD480 8 Gig. This sounds like 1080P at a low bit rate. I don't know how much memory your GPU has, but I think right off the bat a second fast SSD to rend
working with Prores and DNxHD
by Rob Lindsay 3 months ago
I'm confused. So I came here :). Running V13, I am wondering if it can ingest and edit Prores and DNx if I ever want to use a Red or comp camera. And is there an advantage to using those codecs, and i

Lindsay: Magix VegasPRO 16 uses the Magix Intermediate codec (which is PRORES), no additional stuff is needed. It is very easy to customize in HQ, 422, and XQ formats. DnxHD would have to be added.

Sorry Rod, been doing so much research I can't remember. But it was from a translation, and mostly like Nikonrumors or DPR. Thanks for the information, and yes the D7100 has uncompressed (clean no inf

Bite rate reported in MS13 Plat. suite.

When looking at project media I see three reported mbyte rates, Avg. total, Avg. audio, and Avg. video (these appear to be in mbytes as you have to take 8 times the Avg. Total to get the reported manufacture mbit rates). On my D7100 it reports 9.735 mbytes which is 77.88 mbit rate I think.

Am I correct in this calculation for video only does the D7100 record at m bits 77.88?
Nikon D7100 video choppy.

You might want to try using a 95mb card. The D7100 needs a faster card to perform up to spec. If you know someone with a Ninja, try it on your camera to see if the camera is functioning properly. You
