Once again, I answered my own question. Exporting to my SSD rather than to the SAN made the exports fly by. Three 10 minute clips took about 20 minutes - way, way, way faster! HandyGeek

The issue is that Windows uses drive letters as mount points while Mac uses volume ..... as it's mount point. Premiere and AE are fairly robust about linking projects that sit in or around it in terms

We have Active Directory set up on our system being used as a CatDV server. In the server config, you're supposed to be able to select AD users and link them to the rolls. In our case, nothing happens

Sorry, yes, CatDV Server is on a Mac Xserve. AD is on a separate Windows system. Open Directory is not being used and is not activated in the server admin panel. HandyGeek

Yes. This is one reason I like L&L so much. The calculations are based on clip in and outs. Why the built in filter isn't this smart is a matter of programming that Apple's dev team hasn't gotten to.

AFAIK, you have to buy Maya Complete for that featureset now. I don't believe it's been updated for use with newer AE versions.
