Well, we have never used CS3. We directly upgraded from CS2 to CS4, but in CS4 I can use the "Arial Narrow Bold" just fine (TrueType).

All you can do in AE is make sure that the render ends 1 frame before the loop begins anew. If it works on the RAM preview, you've done all you can in AE. Afterwards ... ... I can't speak for the clip
