If you want anamorphic footage, choose squeeze and work in a 16 x 9 timeline. If you want 4 x 3 footage with a lettbox "look", choose letterbox and work in 4 x 3.

As far as shooting under 50khz lighting at 24 p, you very likely will get light flicker issues. I once shot with a 16mm film camera setup to 25fps (inadvertently) and the 60khz hmi lighting (US) flick
