There's software drivers too you need to run to have the mac see the Keyspan. if you don't have them, you can download them from Keyspan.com Jerry

What's the difference in the many different models of this camera (i.e. DVX100BC, DVX100BQ, DVX100BS, DVX100A) I've been searching the net, but can't find anyone to point out the exact differences.

I don't think it's a heat issue, because I have a Thermaltake case with 6 fans, the raid drives are in coolers and my ram has cooler strips on them.
