Have you tried the test yet, because I am eager to know the results, for I am stucking in editing XAVC-l, vegas just keep crashing. So I have to convert them to mpeg before loading into vegas.

I have the same problem , but reinstall with no luck , so I turn to some third-app to help. Though almost everyone said that you cannot trust the thrid app but sometimes it do did the trick.

MOV is just a containter which you may not know the inner codec of it , suggest you use a MediaInfo to know the detailed info about it. Then trans-code it into MPEG or AIC to load it into your Premier

BD and DVD has different file structure, you can use some converters to convert your files into VOB, and in most converters , there are adjust settings for users to up or down their parameters
