Search Dynamic Link. You can create a comp in AE and import that into PP without rendering. Therefor whenever you update your intro, PP will automatically update your sequence with any changes. Depend

For DVD you want to use MainConcept MPEG-2 and then use the NTSC widescreen video stream template. Then export your audio separately using the Dolby Digital AC-3 Pro setting. Name both files the same

Thank you both for the replies! Jeff, I know it is 720x480 but for some reason this is an option when exporting from Avid - this must be Avid's way of flagging it for 16x9 - it's all very confusing. T

Why not go outside, record a few minutes of room tone and add it to your timeline With that as a bed, it may give you the sound you want. James

I have VP9 but I think this work-around will work in VP10. Just create a new track and insert an Empty Event to the lenght needed and then apply the time code fx to it. Hope that helps. James

I would not jump in and buy anything yet. Your situation is calling for rental equipment first. I would get a few paid gigs and rent a few different cameras to find one that works best for you. There
