Thanks, good advice - only prob is that there are potentially many broadcasters.... and potetially none as none is guaranteed. I think you're right though - DV is fine - it's just a hideous format.

James, A solution is to Comform in CinemaTools the p30 as p25. No rendering. For the upscaling use Compressor. rafael www.nagavideo.com
