Running MC 5.5. Shot about 60 clips (all under 2 minutes) on my DP's Panasonic GH2. Moved the MTS files onto my hard drive. started imorting into Avid. some files would import fine - but several cause

well good luck first! for the record - I had started on FCP but I am beginning to really like Avid. Never used Premiere. sounds like FCP is the easiest to load the MTS files into.... Love to know thou

Thank you for your time and help... I'm running Avid MC 5.5 on my MacPro desktop. My editor installed MC 6 on his laptop. We are trying to work together on a 35mm short I directed. I will do some work

G5 for Final Cut Studio 2

Finally switching from Avid Express Pro on my PC to FCut. About to buy a friend's G5. Never had a Mac before. Wondering if a G5 with Intel Dual 2.5, 8 gigs ram will be sufficient for smallish projects
