Zeroning is strictly a security measure. It doesn't improve the function of the drive or change how new data is re-written after a re-format. In the case of SSDs, zeroing is actually going to shorten

I can confirm that the PCD20 9s slower over firewire than USB. A bit strange and a waste of my time trying to get to the bottom of this. Just annoyed as I can't format P2 cards over USB

I would check out QT Edit in Digital Rebellion's Pro Media Tools. You would want to modify the aspect ratio to 40:33. It works. Jeremy
