Basically yes, but it may not be easy to get it right. Create a curves adjustment layer and add a mask to it. Fill the mask with a horizontal gradient. Then adjust the curves lighter to get rid of the

Yep, these are the ones, although I don't know how Peter has a kit with two receivers, I didn't find any sets like this on the market. They are actually the cheapest for the quality they offer.
