I don't think so.... and here's why I think that may be the case... in native editing, some formats require looking at folder structure (like MXF)... renaming a file can create filename collision issu

HI There, You can achieve the static effect by using noise filter and overdrive filter. Make sure you set both colours of overdrive filter to what ever the colour of the text is. if you text is white

You can use some shortcuts to playback faster than realtime without going so fast you can't understand the dialog. Hit play, with either spacebar or L key to being playback. Hold Shift key down, tap L

DOn't use Proxy, but LT would suffice. No reason to transcode the DVCPro HD, just edit in a ProRes LT timeline. Jeremy

As I mentioned before if you need to multiclip, all video formats must match, that means you will have to transcode all of your DVCPRo HD footage to ProRes LT. You could setup a droplet in Compressor

FCP 7.0.3 on SL is awesome. Install it clean and keep this config with FCP 7. Do it to a partition or another startup disk. Keep it! It's really stable and works with all the plugins that were written

It won't do it in-camera, but you can most definitely shoot against a greenscreen and do your chroma key in your NLE. Basically, shoot at the max possible quality. Check this video out: http: magiclan

Have you considered using the Canon EOS Movie plugin to Log and Transfer the footage into FCP. This method converts camera data embedded in the footage to timecode and would make any re-connection to

Glad, I helped a bit! In short: Magic Lantern is an enhancement that adds a lot of features to Canon VDSLRs. Almost all Canons except the 7D are supported. AFAIK 7D support is still under development.
