Hello, I'm having problems with a shape layer. I have a clock face, with some negative space details on it. It also has some negative space hands that spin around. I'm using merge paths, set on substr
Re: Shape Layer Problem

I'm not sure you'll be able to get around that. If you make a boole operation in a 3d app thats what you get. Since you're using a 3d engine to do the extrusion it is probably working as intended. Onc

FCP Sequence started at 23.98, but needs to be 29.97 - Wizardry required?
by Jon Henry 6 years ago
I have an 8 minute sequence, that was inexplicably started as 23.98 when it needs to be 29.97. After searching the web, I haven't found a way to simply make the 23.98 sequence into a 29.97 sequence. I

by John Pale 6 years ago
Dave makes an important point. If the original footage is 23.98 and the sequence is 23.98, and you need a final output as 29.97, the fix is actually rather simple. You can export a reference movie and

Your point is why there is a huge trend in doing kinetic typography and animated charts to illustrate a point rather than text blocks. There will always be times when you need to do the traditional bl
What's a day to you?

Re: What's a day to you?

Thanks everyone. 10 hours is the unanimous winner! This makes me happy. I was thinking a few people might say 12-14 or so. But that's probably more of a producer's answer than a freelancers editor's.
