I am judging the playback on a TV. It's worse on a computer monitor. I think that I am going to up the bit rate on encoding to see what difference that makes. thanks for the responses. ianCanon XHA1 M

I burned a short doc to DVD and the titles and lower 3rds have blocky artifacts around them. The FCP timeline is "DV". the Motion3 CG files were exported to the FCP timeline "lossless alpha". the DVD

if it seems too good to be true it is. I checked the seller ratings for the sites selling cameras cheap and reviews were terrible.

A simple compression techniques goes like this, and it does wonders to make audio richer... 1. Apply the Compression Limiter to the clip, 2. open the filter in the viewer 3. Click the preserve volume
