by Hanqin Lin 1 year ago
So I have recently started editing a project with premiere, and they shot with matching timecode running on both the camera and the audio recorder. They use time of the day as the timecode. But for so

Hi there, So recently I just edited a project in Premiere and finished grading with the newest Resolve 15 Studio. Then I proceeded to the export part. I selected the Premiere Pro XML preset from the t
Media Composer potential bug? White screen instead of black on empty space.
by Hanqin Lin 3 years ago
I have noticed a odd behavior on my media composer recently. It happens when I export the sequence as a Quicktime reference file and try to import it in order applications for rendering. All the blank

Yes, that did fix the white frame issue, if I use AMA file export to export directly to a OP1a mxf file. But unfortunately that doesn't help with my situation. The reason behind using QT reference as

Here is kind of a weird problem I encountered today. I was working on a low budget project with a couple other editors. Since it's low budget we don't have the luxury to be able to sit in an office an

by Hanqin Lin 4 years ago
I know this sound like a silly question but I believe you can set the playback frame rate to any arbitrary number in earlier versions of resolve, but not anymore now. I'm working with some RED footage
Re: Question about setting specific frame rate in Resolve 12.5
by Hector berrebi 4 years ago
I think you can't do this.. Are you referring to a sort of "interpret footage" function such as in Premiere where you can dial in a new frame rate to the clip's setting Only place in Resolve I can thi
BCC Lite Plugins won't show up in Plugins panel

I've recently returned to Avid after some several years of premiere and got myself a subscription. And after downloading and installing not only MC itself but all the other applications come bundled w

Call avid Licensing...that is what they are there for. You didn't mention what type of Avid you have...a subscription or a maintenance purchase. The type you are paying for will dictate which plugins
Resolve roundtrip. Accidentally deleted xml Can't generate another one that links to the CC'ed clips
by Hanqin Lin 4 years ago
So here is a bit of a noob question I guess. When I do the roundtrip from Resolve 12.5 back to Adobe Premiere Pro CC, for some stupid reason I deleted the XML that was generated when doing the roundtr

Resolve remembers the link to your rendered file as long as the Render item remains in the Render Queue. If it's still there, then an XML exported from the Edit page will link to your graded media. If
