So there is going to be a new MacPro, I know it hasn't pleased the cable and expansion box haters but at least it shows us what Apple's vision is going forward in the Professional space, does this mea

Randy Ubillos should Resign

That's my opinion. And the more I hear about the arrogance of this guy, the more I dislike him. He's the force behind this, he thinks he is going to make the whole industry revolve around his bloated

I think we are all far too ignorant to be calling for a specific person's job at Apple. No one here really knows exactly where the fault lies. It's all just speculation. I am personally impressed by c
Audio playback while Color grading?

Haven't purchased FCPX just yet. However for those who have and have tried some color grading, does it allow you to playback the color graded project - with audio and vision at the same time i.e. Like

I've been toying around with FCP X for a few hours and at the same time reading comments on the COW. I'm more positive than most, in that I'm actually starting to like the way it behaves. THE BAD - Mi

This is the most informative post I've come across so far about the new release. There are several people on here posting repeatedly about how they don't like the new program because it's different. F
Will Apple change the App Store?

Was browsing around the App Store today on my iMac and I was wondering if Apple will go in there and re-structure the store a little bit for the X Brands. For one thing, there's no Audio category. So
Re: Will Apple change the App Store?

I agree that they need to change the way the app store is laid out. It feels a lot like I-tunes, which is great for browsing when you don't really know what you want, but not great for searching out a
What FCPX *really* needs
by Richard Herd 6 years ago
It needs a button for corporate clients: "Make it softer by adding dissolves to every cut" and the "don't be creative" button. You know this is true!

I'll miss discovering that the autosave vault contains 100 gigs worth of old project autosaves and it's the reason why there's no room left on your startup drive.
