if you are viewing in rec709, then resolve should be set to rec709. Resolve usually defaults to rec 709 for its color management settings, so you shouldn't have to go in a manually change anything. I

I use standalone fusion, so it works differently, but you might want to look into the resolve versions ability to create macros or even opening the previous comp, copy, and then go to the current comp

MC might not be the best way to try to do this, but the basic idea is there and do-able. Is your PNG keyable Can you put it on V2 with footage on V1, and see both items If so, click on the key setting
