This is untested, but I think it would do what you're looking for. Rather than just looking at the x distance from the null, it looks at the y distance also, and takes the total distance into account

The biggest thing to understand about RAW is that it captures sensor data. When you're shooting in h.264, you encoding to a compressed format, so your pushing your colors to certain restrictions. RAW

Yeah, your loopOut()doesn't really do anything. The rest of your expression a do-it-yourself loopOut("cycle") expression. You can change to ping pong like this: rate=effect("Slider Control")("Slider")
