You could always render out your footage with the Neat filter applied to a new clip and THEN put it in your multicam. Best, Geoff

It will show up in FCPX in the transitions if you PUT it there. It is only been constructed with Motion. Read his instructions carefully. Best, Geoff

You could create a synchronized clip from the same sources then add that synchronized clip into a new lane in your multicam, then sync it to one of your clips and make that your sole audio source in y

Depends on what your definition of "deliverable" is. Shoot as much HD in the field as you need. Proxy that to the cloud if you need to share footage with others, keep it local if not. Cut your project

If all you're using is DV or HDV, you don't need much horsepower to edit. Any of those solutions will work. Best bang for your buck IMHO would be a used Macbook Pro (I prefer the 17 inch). Don't worry

Here's one workaround: Use HDV Split (free software Win only) to capture your clips as m2t files. Use MPEG Streamclip (also free both platforms) to open then convert these to Quicktime files using DNx
