Same exact problem here. I was told I needed a new DPR-289A board. Looking like a 4 grand repair. For all intents and purposes it means the camera is bricked. Any body find any other solutions

You're right Durin - I was thinking Soundbooth, but you can still get everything right from Audition, by opening the Help pulldown, then clicking "Sound Effects and More". This takes you right to the

Hello all, Last night I shot a search and rescue operation in the dark, about 5 degrees below freezing, very high winds, blizzard conditions. This generated some issues and I was hoping for some sugge

Hey Scott, Thanks for the great advice. I will implement the suggestions. This weekend the same Search and Rescue group is doing overnight, winter survival training, which I will also be shooting. It'

Hello Everyone, I am having some difficulty with Final Cut. I find that when I add a frame hold, or slow a clip down, there is always a vertical jump to my preview just as the "altered" clip ends. It

Andrew, Yeah, it's funny. It glitches, even after it's been rendered. There is a slight hesitation as the playhead rolls over the cut between the slow mo, or freeze frame clip, and the unmodified clip

Mine does a bit of a click on startup in camera mode when the iris gear is first engaged. You'll notice that every time you start up the iris will turn momentarily. I think that's the sound you're not

Thank you David. You might have just prevented my wife from having me committed. For some reason, I loath reading manuals, with predictable results I guess. I'll pull out my cool little white box and
