No not possible (yet). This is a feature that will need to be made by a 3rd party developer. Apple is not going to provide that functionality. At least that's what their FAQ which was on their website

I've used the trial version and was almost convinced this is a suitable replacement for FCP, but I think the render quality of Premiere Pro isn't as good, or I am making a mistake in render settings.

XDCAM transfer only exports MXF D10's. (which is the most commonly used type of MXF using either IMX or XDCAM codec). MXF is just a container, like Quicktime, it can contain many codecs, he needs MXF

I think Fibrejet will also work with Media Composer. I haven't tested it with Avid yet, we're a FCP shop, but I think I will try it soon due to FCPX.

Just to let anyone know that if they got the same problem, the solution is indeed the playback offset in the device control tab as Neil pointed out before and also I found the reference in the FCP man
