Most likely, you want to use masking to let only certain parts of the frame show while exposing other layers. Try the very powerful Bezier masking that is part of the Pan Crop tool. You can also tweak

Sorry, Vegas will not allow you to make changes to your vob files (mpeg) then make a new mpeg without recompressing the video, and it won't mux the audio to create a vob (that happens in the authoring

Yes, audio is cumulative, so if you keep adding copies it's going to sound louder. Other approaches would be to use Normalizing or the Volume FX. You can also boost the volume with both the track volu
