Is there a 'paul stretch' equivalent for audition?
by Gabriel Zybutz 4 years ago
I am looking to slow down a track to around %1,500 but I can not seem to achieve this as, using the 'stretch and pitch' effect, I can only slow the track to up to %800 and then I get weird sound disto

by Gabriel Zybutz 4 years ago
I am not experienced with in design and have to produce a magazine. I am more than happy to put extra, un necessary effort into formatting the articles (e.g), if I produce it inside of photoshop but I

Thanks, really I know I have to use in design but was hoping someone would tell me I wouldn't have to so I would have an excuse to not learn a new software but now I'm quite looking forward to it.

by Gabriel Zybutz 4 years ago
I have some shots taken on an overcast, particularly grey day using the GH4 in the cinelike D picture style with everything barring hue and saturation turned all the way down. Hue was at 0 while satur

I'm not sure you could expect much else if you decided to shoot pseudo flat on a grey, overcast, low contrast day. Especially if your white balance was off kilter when you shot the footage. Sometimes
GH4 problem with motion blur and stuttering vision
by Craig Saunders 4 years ago
Hi folks, I need some advice. I recently shot a courtroom on my GH4. I needed a long roll (90 minutes plus) so I used the Panasonic 64gb card and set the camera to: FHD 50 MBS 1920 x 1080 - 25p Shutte

The shutter speed was changed. You should notice that the exposure increased in the second clip, and the motion jitter and blur is due to a shutter speed that has fallen bellow the frame rate (below 2
3rd Person POV type camera movement used to depict intoxication?
by Gabriel Zybutz 4 years ago
I have seen this method of cinematography used in countless productions to depict intoxication in a weirdly pov yet 3rd person type shot and I love it. I can't work out how it is achieved though. It s

Very interesting, I've never seen these rigs used for such creative purposes before and assumed they were exclusive for action filming with go pros and such.
ARRI AMIRA price?
by Gabriel Zybutz 4 years ago
Excuse my obscenely lazy and pointless posting here however I am curious as to how much a ARRI AMIRA would be going for as I'm too lazy to attempt to get a quote for a camera I'll never realistically
Re: ARRI AMIRA price?

Amira premiums are $55K for the body, probably another $15-$30K based on the accessories you need. A good lens to complement them is the Fuji Cabrio which is $38K. Alexa Classic is around $90K with ac
High Resolution 4:3 video?
by Gabriel Zybutz 5 years ago
Hi, I know very little about aspect ratio and have created a 640 by 480 (4:3) composition, but it seems too low a resolution. I am trying to achieve a similar visual effect to that of films such as Fi

by Alen Kajtezovic 5 years ago
Okay so I have a budget of 5k and I wanna buy a new camera I've looked at the Blackmagic Ursa and it's pretty cool and priced at 4.5k close to 5k I know it has 4k capabilities and its a big camera but

If you're planning on doing a lot of low light then I'd defiantly suggest the C100 or better yet, C300 although it might be a little of your budget (but not by very much at all). The Canon's perform v
How do they get clear, smooth, motion blurless shaky footage for action shots in the films?
by Gabriel Zybutz 5 years ago
I use the panasonic gh4 with a small rig and am shooting at 24fps I want to achieve shaky handheld footage for action shots and walking shots with as little motion blur as possible (a very clear image

The "narrow shutter" look is really very simple, you just shoot at a higher shutter speed. 1 100 isn't cutting it... that's just not fast enough. Depending on how fast your action is, I'd try 1 250th
