The scanning dpi needed will depend on the size of the photo being scanned. As the other poster mentioned, video uses pixels and not "dpi", so you need to figure out the math before scanning. Your sca

You could try using an AJA IoHD, but that will require a Firewire 800 connection. Not sure if FW800 is in that old of a machine. E=MC2+ -2db

Edit proxies and conform via an EDL once the edit is locked. The primary reason is that 1 6th res is a really rough image that may lead you to misjudge focus issues in footage. The other issue is that
