Safe Digital Zoom Margins for 720p

Hi All, We are creating a large project shot on the HVX200 in 720p 24fps. When editing, we have hoped to use a few digital pushes (or scale zooms). Does anyone know what the reasonable safety margins

I've done 10% and it still looks decent. As a rule I give myself 10% for push ins. 5% for DV...but only when forced. Shane Alokut Productions www.lfhd.net

Importing DV 24p in AE

Hi All, Were working DV footage from a XL2 shot at 24p, 2:3:3:2 After importation, Premiere recognizes the footage as 23.976, but when I import the raw caputure directly into AE, it reads it as 29.97.

Exporting as Microsoft DV AVI is actually using the Main Concept DV codec which is pretty good, but the return trip from AE will use the Microsft DV codec which is fine for one generation.
