The workaround I use is to save all my modified transitions in a dedicated timeline then copy and paste whatever I need from there. It's clunky but it works. ____________________________________ eric

FCPX isn't really designed for broadcast. It doesn't have the features (EDL, OMF, external monitoring etc.) Can you use it Maybe, depending on your situation but I wouldn't because editing a broadcast

I think in this situation it might be OK to see some kind of reflection in the glass, it's just that it's bluish and obviously a video monitor. You might be able to get away with a bit of masked color

The JH-3 deck is great (I have one) but why on earth would you want to edit at a different frame rate and then convert back. That's just extra work that could end up being a nightmare.
