FWIW, the CUDA issues started with Mavericks. And for better or (as you suggest) for worse, anyone that wants to take advantage of the latest version of Resolve will need Yosemite. I believe the newer
Scene Detection workflow suggestions?

I need to recycle b-roll from a bunch of finished programs (some h.264 masters, but mostly Prores masters) for a new project. Is there an effective workflow for doing this in CC via a plug-in or Speed

Thanks for the detailed info, Trevor. I figured an XML route would be better for Premiere Resolve, but I may just move this to MC based on what you're saying. As an added benefit, I'll have something
strange duplication of files, anyone else?

Thanks Daniel, I've customized almost my entire keyboard to my Avid preferences, but that's the one that eludes me! Not all the keyboard command options make sense to me as a Premiere novice, so I was
So where are the 4K monitors to go with the multiple 4K outputs on a MacPro?

I'll step up to the plate and serve myself a well cooked crow. I was one who figured the MacPro was completely dead. I know it was announced much earlier this year and I have to admit I was quite impr

I'm extremely new to FCPX. I understand that Events are the way X organizes source media, but is there any way to organize shots in a smart collection that isn't broken down by date I have a simple sc

Why we will be choosing PremierePro over FCPX

Let me start by saying that this has nothing to do with the changes Apple have made to Final Cut. I actually like the Magnetic Timeline, and simpleness of the program. But there are just too many miss

I've been strictly an Avid user for non-linear since moving from an A B BetaSP setup in the mid 90's. Premiere and FCP, while both very capable, never had enough differentiation to make me seriously c

Yeah, I've been advised to watch out for situations like this. And the fact that support probably won't respond the first try.
