It does appear random. Yesterday it loaded the Library without opening any Projects. --- Mac OS X 10.5.7 FCP 6.0.5 QT 7.62 15" MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz 4 GB hard disks o'plenty

I was having this problem under FCP 6.04 and XDCAM Transfer 2.71 and 2.80. Thanks for pointing out the solution.

Regarding "not retaining edits" I mean FCP seems to have "undone" recent edits. We save the project and opening it next day - edits gone. Happened in a few cases on separate machines and separate proj

Thanks for the suggestion. Doesn't look like there are columns for Sequence TC and duration of edit points. Nor can I manually re-order the clips in List view. However, it's a starting point.--- Mac O
