T-shape pipeline
by Alberto Bedin 9 years ago
I need to create a T-shape pipeline starting from an exagon poligon (smoothed with turbo-smooth). It would be very easy to create a simple curve, but I need a T intersection. Any suggestion

Try this: Make sure both are edit polys. place them in the t-shape with a small gap between them. Attach one object to the other so that they are one object. Delete vetices in the object that is the t

I would create a sub-object material for the building. Then I would make the windows that you want to light up as a self illuminating map. This way they will light up. Here is a tutorial on After Effe

I would just put the image sequence in a program like After Effect and get the sequence animated the way you want it. Then I would render it out as another image sequence and use that one as my textur
Rendering a camera view with a black image

Ok that could sound quite strange! I need to render a Camera view without showing anything. The camera will move along the animation but nothing must be seen. I need this in order to add a video post

Yes. When you merge in another max scene into the one that you are using, then all attributes of the objects merge in as well. (i.e. animations, materials, modifiers, etc...)\ FYI--This process is

To use a projection map, you need to render from the camera. I will have at least two cameras in my scene. One is a still camera used for projection and the other is animated as needed for the shot. I

Try the optimize modifier. Just make sure that the settings are the same for each object. I believe that the modifier will tell you the ending count of polygons. All have to be equal for the morpher m
Converting Path Deform Binding

One way is to take a snapshot of the mesh. It will create a new mesh that is exactly like the original mesh at the time of the snapshot. This way you have the original and the new mesh to manipulate.
How to adjust all keyframes of a certain IK element?

Open up the animation layers and create a new layer. Then animate what you need. This is a nonlinear edit and will not destroy the original animation. Hope that this helps.

If you are going to link the objects, then you have to link the objects to the corresponding part of the biped. For example, you can link the helmet to the head of the biped. If you want to attach the
