You capture at 23.98 and use cinema tools to perform the pulldown.

Apples Fibre card is not so great. ATTO has 4Gbit cards but as you pointed out, no drivers. ATTO works fairly quicly so you can be sure they will have drivers in a few months.

The HVX cannot control the firewire drive. That is why a firestore type device will be needed. So yes, you will absolutely need a computer to interface with any hard drive (ipod or otherwise.) Using a

You cant plug them directly into macs like you can on a PC... Jan says this is an apple issue and they are working with them to resolve it.

Yeah- its called finalcut pro. :-) You can do some of the DV Rack functionality with the built in finalcut scopes but no, there is no Mac counterpart to DV Rack.

Well youve got alot of questions there... Ill answer a few and some others can chime in after me... First off, if it was most likely not shot with the DVX100 becuase the DVX100 doesnt use DVCAM tapes
