Just because the other thread became so derailed. It would be nice to have some sort of submaster master routing in the Audio Lanes mode so that you can add effects, like a broadcast limiting filter.

Good to hear. I have found the proxy really helps with multi cam editing on a (recent) MBP. But as per your comment, definitely ingest and look at the stuff natively before making a transcode decision
