There is a shutter speed switch on the side of the camera. When I turn it on I can get a shutter speed that I have preselected in the camera menu, i.e., 1 40, 1 50, 1 60, 1 100 all the way to 1 2000.

Yes, I have a 200W Pepper like the one you describe. The knob holds a round disk which covers the vent... probably could remove if you want to dissipate any heat buildup. Dave Speace Producer Director
