Hi David, Yes, it's fine to close Premiere Pro while the proxy files are being created. Just make sure that the job started first in AME before quitting Premiere. Maybe run a quick test before startin

Stop. Select Edit. Position Playhead. Use hotkey. Like I said a "clumsy excuse for extend edit". This can be done in one stroke without stopping to edit naturally to a beat with PP Avid.

You can't do audio filters in the nest or you'll get noise at every cut on your timeline. You can only do video level corrections in the nest without interruptions.

Had the same problem. It was the ram. Easiest test is to put the apple ram back in and see if it freezes with it. If it doesn't it's the ram. I'm having luck with the samsung ram.

FCPX has never been fantastic with syncing. If you edit start stop multicam often, do yourself a favor and invest in Plural Eyes. It will pay for itself in 2 days of use. I just synced a 6 hour sequen

if you started off with a polygon or star shape, under the polystar path properties you can change the number of points and roundness so you can effectively create any equilateral shape from that type

If you expand the Shape layer's properties, you can copy and paste whatever properties you like. You could copy the repeaters to another shape layer, or you could paste another shape layer's shape in.

Actually what I have found is that you must start play on "cam 1" and it will consistently play all angles with the TL in sync. I'm not sure why this is, but it's consistent.
