by David Olsen 9 years ago
I edit in Final Cut Pro and am not happy with my .m2v outputs from Apple Compressor. Is there a way to get my video into BitVice (v. 1.8.1) without having to first output it as an uncompressed file Ba

Ugly Mpeg-2 encodes from Compressor2

I gave this a shot, the output was good --- no artifacting to speak of, but I still ended up with a ghost image if I paused and framed through the video. I think since this material is telecined, I'm
Ghosting Problem with Interlaced Frames
by David Olsen 13 years ago
I posted this a while back - am still getting this problem. I've tried exporting to M2V through both Compressor 2 and using DVD Studio Pro's own embedded M2V encoding. The output is the same. The ghos

I've tried even (bottom), odd (top), and none (progressive) --- even (bottom) is what it's supposed to take, but gives me the problem I have currently... odd results in a very shakey picture... and pr
Odd Ghosting on Image - Related to Interlacing?
by David Olsen 13 years ago
Getting a strange problem with some of the stuff we've been pulling recently. We're getting a ghosted image on certain frames with movement - I think it's probably related to the interlacing somehow (

BTW: We had the disc professionally QC'd - and they described the problem as being the result of disparate interlaced frames.
