You could clone (not just copy) your hard drive contents (with something like Super Duper or Carbon Clone) to the new external. Make sure the new drive has the EXACT same name as your old drive that y

Hello there! I have a lot of clips I need to key in AE with Keylight, but I've realized even 500 ISO on a 5D mk2 was noisy enough to make the details in my talent's thin blonde hair really noisy after

Another option is to purchase the After Effects version of Neat Video. That way you can just stay in AE.

Just wondering where it went. I enjoyed the reviews and banter.

And as Abraham's URL reminds us, it started life as a Film History forum, but morphed pretty early on. It was recently renamed to reflect the actual content of the conversations. Quite a concept. LOL

Could this be a 23.976 vs 24 fps problem A lot of folks say 24p when technically 23.976 is more correct. Possibly a crossed signal here. Dave

The biggest help I can give is make sure you don't have any other FireWire devices hooked up when the Canon is connected. Canons don't like to share FireWire with anything. Capturing to esata or inter

You may have to reverse telecine the hv30's footage to get true progressive footage. I believe, like the hv20 that I own, the hv30 shoots 24p in a 29.97 interlaced wrapper. The hv40 is the first of th
