It downloads an installer internally but this is invisible to the user and there are no parameters you can adjust. So from an end-user perspective it's just like downloading any other application. My

All- Here is a brief update re current XDCAM software and Mac OS Lion support. It is admittedly incomplete and I know there are likely to be questions re integration and features, accompanying drivers

As for item #1, the easiest basic answer is to set up your timeline for the desired output format (your PAL SD) and work with the footage directly on the timeline. FCP will conform it for you. As for
