Hi Michael, Something is wrong. I have an EX1 and the T2i, but the Canon 17-55 2.8 lens. My Canon is significantly better in low light. I'm not sure what you could be doing wrong...

With the EX1, when the format is 1080, 30P, what is the default shutter speed when the shutter switch is set to OFF I'm thinking it is 1 40th which seems a bit slow. Any one know for sure To shoot at

Opinions are really going to vary on this one. Personally, I want my work to appear as the human eye sees things. This means motion blur with a slow shutter speed (1 60th). That is all I ever shoot in
