I've been working at a studio as a colorist. I've received 10 screen credits in that time. Of those 10, 5 are wide-release and have a legally-obtainable DVD or streaming availability. What are my righ

The "four points" are critical, but each is open to some interpretation and has a degree of flexibility, and I haven't even made the reel yet, so whether or not it's Fair Use yet is hazy. My understan

forcing primaries and secondaries tab groups to merge - Resolve 9
by Danny Thompson 5 years ago
When I open up Resolve 9 on my MBP with a 1440x900 screen it combines the primaries and secondaries into a single palette, so that color wheels, curves, windows etc are all part of the same tab group.

DaVinci Resolve - work around for copying color without blowing away tracking.

I'm working on DaVinci Resolve 10.1. I've build some complex node structure, and I'm now a little nervous about changes when the client comes. For example, I'm adding light spills from windows across

First thing i usually do is make a curves layer clipped to a specific layer, play around with it until the edge is even, and then feather the seam. After that I'd probably start making some texture pl
