You can choose NTSC, as PAL-player could playback both, but NTSC-player wont be able to do the other way round. The main advantage doing it in PAL is a (slightly) better SD-resolution. 720x576 (PAL) v

Michael, CBR is OK, if you have less content that should fit on the DVD BD, if you have more content, that should go on the disc, and your bitrate would go below a dedicated bitrate quality, then VBR

even mac os mountain lion (10.8.) wont work on the machine as it has 32bit EFI. 10.8. require 64bit EFI, so you would ge stucked at MAC OS 10.7.x. danny

if the meta-datas are deleted and you only have the m2ts-files you can transcode these files to quicktime-mov using adobe media encoder CS4 or CS5, if you have installed encore and premiere. cheers da
