There's no real magic to it. Media Encoder can do the pulldown conversion of your footage without any real hiccups. If you're unhappy with the final product then you'll need to look at a hardware solu

the point is they don't want it to look progressive single field. they want it interlaced. clearly, shooting 1080 50i is the solution, but that doesn't change the existing 1080 25p stuff. so i ask aga
