I don't think so, but there's probably a script that could rename comps in your project after they're created. I'd check aescripts.com.
Keyframing question

I'm doing a somewhat unusal project using phone footage. The footage is at various low frame rates from 7 fps all the way up to 24 fps HD footage. At the moment i am matteing higher frame rate footage

Posterize time is the one you are looking for, I think. See if that does the trick.

You'd need to use a simple expression to link the position of your arrowhead to the position of the end point of the line. Open the path info to position. Open the position on your arrowhead and Alt-C

Drag the new picture onto the timeline and position it where you want it to start revealing. Create a square mask and pull the top and bottom frames to the centre of the image so it is not visible. Cl

well, actually, if you capture with cineform software, it goes from inter to intraframe compression so AE won't crash because it's now all "I" frames. that's why it costs a lot.
