Xpresso Car Wheel
by Diego Romero 4 weeks ago
Hello! I need some help creating car wheels that rotate automatically (forward and backwards) when moving along a spline that I created on the X,Y and Z axis. I have seen a million tutorials but they
Re: Xpresso Car Wheel

of course you can make it go backwards but then if you want to animate by hand it depends on..., well, the way you decide to animate it. If you use dynamics and connectors (the way you'd usually rig a
Xpresso random seed issue

Hi everybody, in TP preset Standard Emitter there's a Random node feeded with a random seed taken from PGetData Random Seed output to randomize e.g. the size of particles. It returns one (not changing

Fastest solution with Xpresso Python node (fixed random number): import c4d import random def main(): global Output random.seed(Seed) Output = random.random()

looks like a fluid simulation, I don't think it can be done with cloth (I mean, how can the object be passing through the cloth, with ripples, viscosity etc. )
After Effects and Cinema 4D lighting?

Hello there I'm a long time Maya user, but due to Cinema and AE working so well together I thought it was time to jump onto the Cinema 4D train. I have a paper cut scene in After Effects, and have lit

I have to admit I use AE for 2D projects, but sure you can have much more flexibility, possibilities and ease creating a "2D look" in Cinema, if you are not using specific compositing techniques (lot
Ease In to Linear (range mapping problem)

Hi, I wrote this post in Cinema 4D forum because I want an Xpresso setup, but it could be done with AE expressions: I want to write an Xpresso function to Ease In values at the beginning until normal

Thank you very much, I think i'll still need some time to figure out how is working. now it's giving me an "error at line 52 expected: ;., an expression was disabled..." which I can't find. I'll try t
HELP: Modeling of a 6 panel football/soccerball

Hi guys, A client of mine asked if I could make a 6 panel ball. Such as this one: I need some good advice, or maybe even an already made model. Because I'm really strugling with the curve. If you thin

I don't have the answer but usually this "platonics" are very easy to do when you know how I would stick to the dodecahedron, get rid of the edges cutting the pentagons, subdivide once and using two p
How do you resize the width of a shape layer with a slider and set specific parameters

Something like: A Size x = linear(effect("Slider Control")("Slider"),0,100,10,5); x, value 1 B Size x = linear(effect("Slider Control")("Slider"),0,100,0,20); x, value 1 Corrado
Tracking Rotation with Offset

Hi, I need to add a stripe along the tyre of a motorbike, rear view. I'm trying to track Position, Rotation and Scale (to simulate Z-depth)of the wheel. There are no features to track on the tyre itse

Not sure of what you mean with "link it to whichever tracked result you have that makes it stays there" but I'll give it a try. It's strange for me that I need a workaround to do what seems to be the

I don't know about Free Form Pro, but with Puppet tool you need any image with Alpha channel, cause you need to distort the shape of the feather and not the background. Then you can twist it (not sure

Set cloner to Linear, then use a Spline Effector which uses the same circle spline - animating the Start and End in the Spline Effector will gives the same clone position results but they will keep th

I don't remember if you can have custom (jpeg or whatever) particles in Particle World (but I guess you can't) but for sure you can have them in Trapcode Particular plugin. You can check http: www.mot
Red (and only red) jagged in H.264 footage
