Can you use compressor to make it something web ready and then just upload to Youtube. I always find this more reliable than trying to share directly to Youtube or Vimeo.

I am surprised at 41 kHz from the zoom. I thought the two standards were 48 kHz for voice over and 44 for music such as CD's. 24 bit 48 kHz seems to be the most common for good quality audio for video

It is actually a hardware issue and the Blue Snowball website just says mine is obsolete. Fortunately they are only $70.00 and the new versions work.

While I long ago went with FCPX, I am trying to help a friend with a FCP7 legacy project. I still have FCP7 version 7.03 on my main hard drive. I am running Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6 on a mid 11 27" mac.
