If you are using formats supported by Smart Render, then that might be a possible workaround. That said, Premiere and AME do not currently support reference movie export. For more info on Smart Render

Anytime you have issues of ANY sort in FCP... Trash your prefs, reset your permissions, and check your disks for any errors using something like DiskWarroir. Maybe purchasing a program such as the FCS
