you can remove color casts with channel mixer set to color transfer only, lens blur the highlight artifacts together, but there is no information left to recover. all you can do is make it less ugly.

you can 'grade' in camera quite heavily with lighting, but it leaves less room for changes in post. still, very possible to do it your way if you don't plan on white balancing before heavy grading. ho

bizarrely speaking, anything above 12 bits is a waste of space as jpeg2000 DCP's encode to 12 bits only. so you aren't getting better quality going higher than that in the media container.
